Hangzhou Powder Metallurgy Research Institute

Hangzhou Powder Metallurgy Research Institute was founded in 1965, originally as a Class II research institute of the Ministry of Machinery, now belongs to Hangzhou Advance Gearbox Group Co., Ltd. It is the first enterprise in China to engage in the research, development, production,additionally testing of various friction materials, components, and composite anti friction products. Our products are widely applied in the clutches and brakes of general machinery, agricultural machinery, marine machinery, engineering machinery, special vehicles, aerospace, automotive and rail transit. The company has "Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Gear Transmission and Friction Materials Research", "National Technical Center", and "Postdoctoral Workstation". Over the years, it has led and participated in the development of more than 10 national and industry standards for powder metallurgy and had over 15 invention patents and new utility patents for powder metallurgy products, and also has completed exceeding 300 scientific research and new product development projects for powder metallurgy products assigned by the State, Province, and City. Many research achievements have won awards such as the National Science Conference Award, the Second Prize for Science and Technology Progress of the Ministry of Machinery Industry, the Second Prize for Science and Technology of the Ministry of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and the Provincial and Municipal Science and Technology Achievement Award.
